Later you’ll have the opportunity to network with other local startups and entrepreneurs and to hear about Microsoft BizSpark and other business solutions offered by Microsoft. Building Websites in the Cloud

Learn how to use Microsoft Azure, our global cloud solution, to power your websites

This workshop will show you how to quickly create web applications using popular frameworks such as WordPress, Joomla, NodeJS, PHP and more. You will learn how to create and deploy a website using Visual Studio Online. Other features such as cloud services will be discussed how to take your website to the next level.

Code Camp NYC Registration is Open

Code Camp 9 – Registration Opens August 4th, 2014!

NYC Code Camp is happy to announce that the registration for the next NYC Code Camp will open promptly at 9:00am on Monday August 4, 2014!

Registration will be processed through Eventbrite at http://codecampnyc.eventbrite.com and attendance costs a mere $10 for the entire day’s worth of content (less than the cost of two lattes at Starbucks)! If you register before Friday August 15, 2014 you will also have an opportunity to shape the content of the sessions being selected! Anyone who registers between August 4, 2014 and August 15, 2014 will be directed to a survey page where you can vote for the 10 sessions you most want to see! What:
CodeAcross 2014 is a weekend of events taking place in cities around the world. There will be events hosted simultaneously in dozens of cities all around the globe on the weekend of February 21-23, 2014. Coinciding with International Open Data Day, the goal of CodeAcross is to activate the Code for America network and inspire residents everywhere to get actively involved in their community.

CodeAcross events will be hosted by members of the CfA network: Fellows, government partners, and volunteers. This is the third annual CodeAcross event (formerly Code Across America).
